Voron'zhev I. Radiodiagnosis of the changes in thoracic organs in newborns and children of early age with hypoxic-ischemic and traumatic lesions of CNS.

Dissertation is devoted to the problem of improvement of radiodiagnosis of changes in thoracic organs in newborns and children of early age with hypoxic-ischemic and traumatic lesions of CNS. As a result of findings the degrees of severity of the most frequent changes in lungs and cardiovascular system are determined: hyperpneumatosis, іnterstitial edema of lungs, diaphragmal paresis, pulmonary hypertension, aspiration syndrome, interstitial emphysema of lungs and bronchopulmonary dysplasia. The verified difference of these information is determined depending on the child maturity. Ultrasonic research of heart and pulmonary vessels has been conducted in newborns and children of early age with hypoxic-ischemic and traumatic lesions of CNS depending on the child maturity, that allowed to define the additional criteria of severity degrees of the disease taking into account echocardiography and Doppler echocardiography. The revealed signs of pulmonary hypertension found at all stages of observation confirm the influence of pulmonary hypertension on the development of pulmonary lesions, its consequences and complications. Possibilities of methods of conventional scintigraphy, CT and US in diagnostics of the changes in thoracic organs for children with perinatal lesions of CNS have been determined.
