Papers are dedicated to research of theoretical, methodical and practical problems of activation of integration co-operation of enterprises of food industry of Ukraine as a point of view on problems and prospects of its development. Genesis and evolution of theory of integration are investigated. The point of view of scientists-economists are considered and generalized as basic definitions in the field of integration co-operation of subjects of manage and ways of management of process of integrated structures forming, which enabled to develop the theory of integration. Development of integration processes in Ukraine is investigated and division on types in food industry is carried out. Methodology of realization of integration co-operation analysis is offered. World experience of integration processes, forming and development of integrated structures is analyzed. Expedience of the use of system approach to the integration structure forming is based. The procedure and conception of integration co-operation of enterprises of food industry is reasonable. Certainly directions of integration co-operation of enterprises of food industry taking into account reasons and with aims of recognition of integration motives and purpose, expected integration advantages, the stage of life cycle of industry, dynamics of development of separate industries, intensity and level of branch concentration, vector of development of industry and the rate of consolidation.
