Slavkova O. Institutional Support for Sustainable Development of Rural Tterritories

Theoretical and methodological fundamentals and principles of institutional support for sustainable rural development are defined and substantiated in the dissertation. From the standpoint of the institutional theory significance of institutions and establishments in the sustainable development of rural territories is substantiated, nature, role and features of the formation and function of social capital of rural areas as an integrated concept, which comprises a range of individual characteristics of economic, social, environmental and intellectual component and includes a set of values or norms that are defined by members of a particular group and interact with each other are detected. On the basis of agricultural development tendencies proposals for the formation of the three-level structure of support programs are elaborated. Methodological and methodical approaches to sustainable development management, formation of the rural areas cluster modelling institute, state policy strategies building for rural territories development and institute of control and monitoring of sustainable development are determined. Conceptual principles of institutional support for sustainable rural development and social infrastructure and information support institutions development are formulated.
