Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the synthesis, study of ligand exchange reaction, structure and prospects of application of titanium, zirconium, hafnium phthalocyanine complexes with out-of plane coordination. The new methods of synthesis of Ti, Zr, Hf phthalocyanine dichlorides and their oxo- (dihydroxo-) derivatives were developed. It is shown that reaction of PcMХ2 (М=Zr, Hf; Х=Cl, OH) with beta-dicarbonyls or carbonic acids results in formation of corresponding bis( beta-dicarbonylate) and bis(carboxylate) phthalocyanines. Besides we have discovered the increased photosensitivity of TiO2 -based hybrid films containing Zr and Hf phthalocyanines with beta-dicarbonylic substituents, and high cytostatic activity of water-soluble complexes.
