Essay

In the thesis an original chronotopical conception of a drama has been developed. It has been examined on the basis of I. Franko’s drama works. The conception proposed reveals a range of the theoretical problems in terms of the nature of artistic time and space, chronotopical terminology, genology. Reconstructed system of I. Franko’s views on time and space in literature. Author’s engagement in writing plays has been divided into five periods and determined his evolution.
