Essay

The changes in content of photosynthetic pigments in leaves of winter wheat and grapes depending on the varieties characteristics and environmental factors were investigated. The features of canopy photosynthetic apparatus formation, regulation of energy balance and radiation use efficiency in winter wheat varieties that differ in productivity were analyzed. The relation between parameters of leaves assimilation actions and productivity of high intensity winter wheat was studied also. The high level of mineral nutrition increased the radiation use efficiency more significantly in modern high-yield varieties.
