Object of the investigation: unified technologies of obtaining new catalysts of Cu - Zn - Al group with improved operating properties. Aim of the investigation: designing scientific bases of unified technologies of producing high ef-ficient CO and syngas catalysts with longer working life which allows to ensure material saving, to substitute import catalysts for home-produced ones, to increase raise competitive ability of home-produced catalysts. Methods of the investigation and apparatus: X-ray phase and X-ray (diffraction) analyses, high-temperature radiography in reaction condition, termogravimetry in air and inert atmosphere, mercury porometry, atomic absorption spectrometry, roent-genofluorescence spectrometry, measuring total specific surface of catalysts according to low - temperature of nitro-gen absorption by using of BET method, impulse chromatographic method of measuring specific surface of copper ac-cording to low-temperature chemisorption of oxygen, measuring catalysts activity on laboratory installation under the pressure up to 5MPa. Theoretical and practical results: developed theoretical approaches designed and introduced technologies of produc-ing and using Cu - Zn - Al coprecipitated catalysts have provided efficient and flexible technological manufacturing process of the ones, efficient CO one-stage conversion in the reactors with the SDM, CO conversions with low con-centration of by-product methanol, the control of DME/methanol relation at combined synthesis by using bifunc-tional catalysts. Novelty: scientific basies of unified processes of preparing new high-active catalysts for CO and syn-gas end conversion have been designed. Introduction degree: the developed technology of the catalysts manufacturing of CO conversion (SNK - 2) has been employed at SE "PGMF". The technologies of the catalysts manufacturing of CO conversion (SNK - 2) and bifunc-tional catalysts of DME and methanol synthesis (SNM - 4 - modified) have been introduced at STC "ALVIGO-KS", a flexible manufacturing process of SNM- U, SNK - 2, SNM - U-modified having been designed within one techno-logical line. New catalysts are successfully applied at the enterprises of Ukraine, Russia, Byelorussia, Lithuania. Ac-celerated catalysts recovery technology has been applied at industrial reactors of SSIC "Azot Association", OJSC "RivheАzot", JSC "LINOS" , JSC "NAK Аzot", JSC "Аcron", JSC "Grodno Аzot", SC "АСНЕМА". The developed test techniques of catalysts are applied at JSC "NIAP-Catalysts" and at the Institute of catalysis SD RAS. Object branch: chemical industry.
