Essay

A research object is electrical physical processes in dielectric media. A research aim is development of theoretical and experimental methods of investigation of nonlinear physical processes in dielectric media for solution of the problems of high-voltage impulsive technique, in particular for development of all-solid-state generators of pulsed power voltages, currents and electromagnetic fields. Research methods - fundamental basics of theory of the electromagnetic fields and methods of theory of electric circuits are used. Theoretical and practical results - the methods of mathematical and physical modeling are elaborated and electrical physical processes in nonlinear media upon strong electric and magnetic fields at electromagnetic waves propagation are modeled; the methods of synthesis of mediums with nonlinear parameters, appropriate for usage in technique of power electric and magnetic fields are developed. Novelty - joint influence of degree of non-linearity of dielectric and magnetic permeability on the process of deformation of wave front and forming of shock electromagnetic wave at its propagation in composite ferroelectric-magnetic media is appreciated; correlations of geometrical and electrical physical parameters of ferroelectric and magneto-dielectric components of layered composite ferroelectric-magnetic active dielectrics, which provide stabilizing of wave resistance are determined; nonlinear properties of ferroelectrics in the wide temporal interval of monotonous growth of strong electric fields are determined. Degree of introduction - constructions of all-solid-state pulsed power generators, having a row of advantages as compared to classic constructions are developed and implemented. A sphere of usage is a pulsed power technique.
