The object of study is the process of control gas system supply in the context of its development and adaptation to current economic conditions. The aim of the thesis is the development of theory, methodology and practice of management transformation and development of the gas supply system and the development of scientific and practical recommendations aimed at achieving long-term stability and its efficiency in terms of increased competition in the international energy markets. To solve the problems in the thesis used such methods as: theoretical generalization, dialectic and logic, systematic economic analysis of knowledge: analysis, synthesis, deduction, induction, abstraction, modeling, formalization of the working hypotheses, justification of ideas, economic analysis, expert evaluation, economic and mathematical modeling, forecasting used in the study of natural resource, technical and intellectual capacity, pricing mechanisms, both internal and external risks, mechanisms and management tools, processes of transformation and development of the gas supply system. The novelty - developed theoretical and methodological foundations of management mechanism transformation and development of the gas supply system, which is based on an integrated approach to the global changes in the natural gas resource base, opportunities for diversification of sources, routes and modes of supply of natural gas, the use of evidence-based pricing system, adequate involved in the development of this area of technical and intellectual capacities, thus enhancing the energy security of the country, to expand and deepen the possibility of more efficient use of productive forces in the gas sector. The results that are developed the scientific bases of gas transportation infrastructure in terms of diversification of sources and routes of gas supply risks in Ukraine. Also improved investment- innovative and informative mechanisms of development of the gas supply system in the present conditions and proved the structure of the organizational-economic mechanism of management processes of its transformation and development in general.
