Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development and optimization of technologies for high yields and weed-infested control of maize, sun-flower and winter wheat. Morphological and biological indicators of winter wheat, corn, and sunflower were generalized and investigated. It made possible to consider the problem of weed control as the primary support for crops to enhance growth and development of over ground parts and root systems, resistance to weeds and if in need for additional use of mechanical and chemical means of weeds destruction. It was determined that in maize and sunflower crops it is necessary to apply the integrated security system that includes biological competitiveness of a crop, mechanical techniques and chemicals for weeds destruction.
