Polupan Y. Ontogenetic and selection laws governing the formation of the economic useful traits of dairy cattle

In the dissertation there is stated irregularity of growth and dynamics of the youngsters' sexual dimorphism formation on live weight and some exterior traits, higher relationship level of growth intensity in the period of intense sexual maturity (6-12 months) with further cow milk production. The degree of genetic determination, age repeatability of selection traits, the impact of the environmental conditions on their formation, the level of correlative variability, the possibility of early selection and prediction is stated. The methods of estimation are proposed, stated the specific features and proved the possibility of early indirect selection of the duration and effectiveness of cow lifetime use. More precise methods definition is proposed, conducted a comparative analysis of bull breeding value assessing methods on the productivity of daughters and its relationship with other traits.
