The thesis investigates the features of the sources of the environmental law development in Ukraine. Different scientific views on the formation of institutes and sub-institutes of the environmental law are analyzed. The system of these sources is considered as a whole and separately for each item that folds it. Prospects for improvement of legal regulation in the area of interaction of society and nature are emphasized.
