Tkachenko I. Сonceptual foundations of prophylaxis and treatment of advanced teeth tissue abrasion.

Thesis presents theoretical generalization and introduces new scientific approach to the solution of the problem of the improvement of diagnostics, prophylaxis, and treatment of the advanced teeth abrasion. It takes into consideration individual forecasting onset of the changes in the teeth tissues with the help of experimental research of enamel structure and composition, development of nanostructure based on strontium hydroxylapatite derived from anions (chloride, nitrate, acetate), analysis of aetiopathogenetic factors, development of the methods of early diagnostics and treatment directed towards normalization of masticatory muscle functioning and occlusive relationships. The prevalence of the advanced teeth abrasion made up 9,85 % of the applied for dental treatment population of Poltava region. Conceptual plan of taking preventive and treatment measures against the advanced teeth tissue abrasion has been elaborated on the basis of the results of laboratory and clinical research. To normalize masticatory muscle functioning and occlusive relationship removable splint-mouthguard (monoblock) for the teeth of maxilla and mandible has been manufactured. The efficiency of the suggested diagnostics, prophylaxis and treatment methods of the advanced teeth abrasion has been proved.
