Essay

Objectives: Ascertainment of the causations between social-emotional stress of mothers on the early trimester of pregnancy and alteration in endocrine organs, bone tissues, psycho-emotional activity of offsprings; impact of exogenous stress on manifestation of antenatal disposed pathologies, exploration of the primary and secondary ways of its prevention. Subjects of investigation: rats of Wistar population - socially-emotionally stressed females off springs. Methods of investigation: pathophysiological, histological, immunoassays, biochemical, statistical. Used equipments: electronic balance, immune-ferment analyzer, spectrofluorometer, light microscope with photo camera, computer. Theoretical result: it was proved that the action of stress hormones of mother on the fetus genome result into formation of the new phenotype of endocrine glands and hormone dependant tissues that predisposes to endocrinopathies, osteopathies, shifts in neuropsychiatric offsprings activity. Practical significance: the substantiation of stressed mothers offsprings labeling as individuals with low potential health, high risk of endocrinopathies, osteopathies and alcoholism development as well as evidences of possibility of early development pathology prevention was done. Novelty: the new information about endocrine glands structure and function , bone tissues, shift in hypothalamus neurotransmmiters in gestationally stressed mothers offsprings was done. It is extends our knowledge about critical periods of ontogenesis and factors of epigenetic impact on fetus genome. The new concept of " syndrome of stressed offsprings" was proposed. Implementation: 67 publications (20 papers in special journals), 6 patents of Ukraine, 2 methods recommendations, 1 information letter. Area of application: endocrinology, perinatology, obstetrics and gynecology, family medicine.
