The thesis is devoted to development of principles of special-purpose systems that are closely situated with operating pipelines, to resolve conflicts between the growing importance of the stress characteristics of operating pipelines and characteristics of machines work in the system "working equipment - soil - pipeline". This paper describes mechanism of interaction between moving and working equip-ment of excavating machines in special soil environment, under specific conditions. As well the paper revealed patterns of changes in value, vector and nature of stress-strain soil state dis-tribution in the area of working equipment and pipeline considering the spatial character of the load and the pipeline parameters. Developed methods allowed to prove scientifically technical and technological solutions for the formation of highly efficient excavating machines and their sets for the repair of operat-ing pipelines, implementation of which will be undertaken safely, in a short time and at mini-mal cost to perform the required volume of oil-gas transportation system reconstruction that will contribute to the development of country's economy and increase its energy independence.
