3. English World of Life encoded in institutional discourse of Tudor times. The aim is to reconstruct major spheres of life of the English in late XV - early XVII centuries through linguo-semiotic analysis of parliamentary acts of the time. Methods used include critical discourse - analysis, content-semiotic approach was used to explain the double signi- ficance of encoding/decoding; a separate subdivision of linguistic studies-namely, lingui-cultural semiotics was singled out. Usage - in a wide array of academic studies - lexicology, stylistics, linguo-semiotics, sociolinguistics.
