Essay

In the thesis on the basis of an integrative clinical-psychopathological, clinical-anamnestic, psychometric and psychodiagnostic examination of 297 patients with mental disorders in Parkinson's disease (PD) (the main group) and 76 patients with PD without mental disorders (the control group) data were obtained regarding a psycho-pathological structure of mental disorders in PD, their interconnection with PD motor manifestations, pathopsychological regularities of their formation. It was worked out and substantiated scientifically the system of differential re-source oriented therapy for mental disorders in PD. The system developed is based on the principle of personification of therapeutic and preventive interventions. This allow us to take into account an individual, neurological, psychopathological, psychological, and social deficiency resulted from motor and mental PD consequences. The system consists of in-patient and out-patient stages with pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy as their main activities. Results of approbation of this system suggest their high effi-cacy.
