The dissertation presents a theoretical interpretation of results and a practical solution to a scientific problem - based on a examining 238 patients with COPD, in 131 cases combined with the chronic pancreatitis, is defined pathogenetic conception for a given pathological tandem, based on a comprehensive evaluation of disorders of the immune status, metabolic and autoimmune changes, genetic deviations, predictors of target organ damage and of increased cardiovascular risk. Based on these data has been developed the conception of diagnostically-therapeutic strategy aimed at correcting the basic pathogenetic changes associated with subsequent progression of disease and the development of the target organs complications. It has been proven the efficacy of the proposed treatment of patients with combined course of COPD and chronic pancreatitis with the additional use of immunomodulator 5-amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydrophthalazin-1,4-dione sodium salt, which contributes of formation of the earlier clinical remission and significant improvement in the indicators of systemic inflammation, immune system, endogenous intoxication, which can considerably improve the prognosis in these patients.
