This work exposes economical essence and role of planning and forecasting, as important components to provide effectiveness of national economy in the long and medium term. Generalized and systematized experience in planning and forecasting in countries with developed transition economies. Were established the prospects and possibilities of its consideration in planning income and expenditure forecasting economic growth, evaluation influece of investments, Consumer Price Index. The meaning and essence of macroeconomic models and their influece on social and economical development of the country were clarified.
