Kondratieva I. Institutions of Oriental Christianity under the domination of other faiths.

In this dissertation for the first time in Ukrainian religious studies research based on the analysis of the fundamental theological and scientific works comprehensively reviewed and analyzed the history, current state and the problem of identifying the institutions of oriental Christianity. The main stages and trends of Christianity and oriental studies were identified by an analysis of scientific works which devoted to the theological, social, political and economic aspects of the processes of institutionalization of religious structures. Were made an analysis of the doctrinal building and reconstruction process of institutionalization of the Oriental Churches which the author refers to institutions of oriental Christianity. The author has proved that in the history of mankind people whose religious affiliation were forms of Oriental Christianity performed an important mediating role in the process of communication between Europe and the Muslim world. Accordingly, special attention should be acquired institutions oriental experience of Christian-Islamic cross-cultural relationships. The research notes that institutions of oriental Christianity served as the consolidation of minority ethnic and religious communities and the formation of the Syrians, Assyrians, Armenians, Copts and Ethiopians.
