Vozhik Y. Scientific and technical fundamentals of application of solid mineral fertilizers using energy of pressurized air.

The thesis is dedicated to the solution of the problem of effectiveness increase of mechanized application of solid mineral fertilizers through improving the quality of their distribution over the soil surface and in soil. By analyzing mathematical models of working members for application of solid mineral fertilizers, their operational functionality is determined, structural and operation parameters of pneumatic fertilizer distributors, which eliminate the negative influence of physical-mechanical properties of fertilizer and weather conditions, are substantiated. Substantiated also are structural and technological drawings of technical means, types, structural parameters, and modes of operation of working members. Original technical means recommended or put into production were worked out and created. Annual economic effect from operation of developed machines amounts to 95.4 million hryvnias.
