Essay

Thesis is dedicated to the synthesis and studying of properties of macrocyclic compounds containing fragments of thiourea and urea, as well as crownophanes which include fragments of 2,7-dioxyfluorenone and catenanes on their base. It was established that macrocyclic ureas are more selective as compared to thiourea, at the interaction with metal cations and the selective receptors on cations Fe(III), Cu(II), Rb, Sr and Ba were found. It was established that in catenanes in solutions and in crystalline state the fluorenone fragment is located outside of the cavity of cyclobis(paraquat-n-phenylene).
