Essay

The thesis research covers the phenomenon of literary existentialism - problem of choice - in Simone de Beauvoir's works. The evolution of artistic revealed ancient Greek goddesses archetypes within "female" - vulnerable Hera, Demeter, Persephone, within "feminist" - virgin Artemis, Athena, Hestia and in "feminine"- alchemical Aphrodite - concepts. The paradigm of "literary existentialism" envisages joining of story type (characterological, concentric); resolution type (incompleteness, philosophic deepness); character type (lyro-dramatic); "existention" (image of feeling); morality (reinterpretation of "ethic" / "non-ethic" standards), journalistic and parable strata.
