Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of the theoretical backgrounds of synthesis of polyesters based on dibasic amino acids and natural polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene polyetherdiols via Steglich esterification for biomedical application. The conception for novel polyesters physical and chemical properties regulation has been developed. The colloidal properties of synthesized polyesters and their ability to solubilize lipophilic substances in the water solutions have been studied. The recommendations for applications of nano- and microcontainers based on the synthesized polyesters as drug and gene carriers in the cell nucleus were generalized.
