Dissertation is devoted to the problem of surgical treatment of patients with surgical diseases of the thyroid gland with various functional statuses, to prevent the injury of 10th , 11th craniocerebral nerves (CCN) and cervical branches of the brachial plexus, the development of new diagnostic methods and modernization of existing for further development conservative and surgical correction of damage of the 10th pair CCN during operations on the thyroid. Using for patients with organic postoperative dysphonia methods of neuromuscular electrophonostimulation therapy of larynx leads to partial or complete recovery of mobility of the vocal folds and complete closure of the glottis in 88,1% of patients after treatment with this method.
