Stashevskyi A. Specificity of expressive means in Ukrainian music for button accordion (the last quarter of the twentieth – first decade of the XXI century).

The thesis investigated the peculiarities and regularities of functioning of system of musical means of expression in button accordion music of Ukrainian composers of the last quarter of the twentieth century – the first decade of the XXI century. Essence and structure of musical means of expression as a category of musicology on the basis of analysis of different musicological works. Covered constructively-оrganic features concert for button accordion and specificity of his artistic and expressive capacity. Analyzed style button accordion creativity of Ukrainian composers of the period of the 1940s and early 1970s, in the aspect of the evolution of expressive means and the realization of the artistic potential of the instrument. Presented panorama of the modern button accordion creativity of Ukrainian composers through a General characteristic of the most significant works and systematization of style trends. Investigated the specificity of the main components of the system of expressive means in button accordion of works by modern Ukrainian composers. Peculiarities of functioning of composite techniques and methods in contemporary music for button accordion by Ukrainian composers and performed systematization of their manifestations.
