Essay

The objects of research are ionospheric inhomogeneities, long-distant propagation of radio waves, and troposphere- ionosphere interaction. The aims are development of new methods for radio diagnostics of near-Earth plasma irregularities that based on long-distant propagation of HF radio signals; experimental detecting the effects and modeling the physical mechanisms of interaction between atmospheric and space weather systems. The radiophysical method for multiposition Doppler sounding of global ionospheric irregularities, and scientific conception of connection between atmospheric and space weather systems have been developed. Application areas are the remote sensing and physics of geospace
