Essay

The thesis is focused upon the process of within-firm transfer of corporate knowledge. It also advances the question that the process of within-firm transfer of tacit knowledge is influenced by an organizational environment fostered by the implementation of the seven dimensions of the learning organization. The dissertation suggests that cultural and social variables are in the dynamic relationship and have direct impact on theory and practice of human resource and their development. Organizational behavior has reinforcement function that perpetuates cultural and social structures. It reveals peculiarities of Asian managerial philosophy as being centered on social morality, ruled by human beings versus western managerial philosophy characterized as technical rationality, ruled by law. The work shows how corporate culture helps many organizations become learning organizations.
