Essay

The basic foundation and the methods of the synthesis of novel in essence surface-active oligoperoxides, oligoperoxide metal complexes and derived functional polymer-polymeric and polymer- inorganic nano- and microcomposites for using in biology, medicine, and physics were developed. For the first time oligomers consisting of functional chain and peroxide end fragment were synthesized via telomerization of vinylic monomers in the presence of peroxide-containing chain transfer agent; the mechanism, kinetic scheme of the telomerization were assumed and the structures of functional telechelic oligoperoxides (TOP) were studied. There was definited that the telomerization rate is complied with the reguliarities of poor inhibited polymerization and the rate, TOP molecular weight distribution and number average functionality are defined by the natures of monomers, initiators and telogen concentration.
