Essay

Innovative ideas in fundamental, Trinity, Christological, ecclesiologic and anthropologic theology and also in social learning of the Church in the period from II Vatican conference till nowadays in German-speaking countries in Central Europe have been discovered. We investigated general ideas of theological discussion of the second half of 20th century in German-speaking countries. The background of modern theology, changes in role and meaning perception in theology have been also taken into account. Metamorphoses in modern ecclesiology, attainment of Christology in modern theology, attainment of modern Trinitology, the problem of transcendence of Holy Trinity, anthropological reflexion of modern theology and paradigm nucleus, which is caused by cultural and outlook changes, which is shown in modern theology have been analysed in the dissertation. The result of the research is the proving of the thesis that religious thought of the second half of 20th century in German-speaking countries is characterized by unitary, anthropology, ecumenism, non-confession, new rationality, openness, sociality and postmodernism.
