Matviyishyn Y. Strategic management of the economy at the regional level

In the thesis are developed theoretical and methodological bases and practical recommendations for the strategic management of the economy at the regional level, in particular developed the theory and practice of forecasting certain sectors of the socio-economic life of the urban settlements and rural areas of the region. Strategic management of the economy at the regional level as a comprehensive study of the internal and external environment, forecasting the socio-economic processes, forming of strategies and planning of activities, focused on completing the mission of area as the place attractive to live, work, visit and invest are considered. The combination of system and project approaches as a methodological basis for change management is suggested and on this basis the conceptual model of projects and programs implementation aimed at economic reproduction in the region is developed. The methods of forecasting the structure of human resources in the urban settlements and rural areas of the region, economic processes and perspective changes in the local budgets, the application of which enables the use of scenario modelling within the strategic management of the economy at the regional level are elaborated.
