The theoretical basis of the study of structural elements of equipment for thermal and nuclear power plants are further developed at the expense of developed generalized approaches, models and methods based on simulation of damage in structural materials, allowing to take into account the probabilistic nature of the operating conditions, interference on the resources of the various processes in nature of damage (creep, continuous corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, degradation properties) that are simultaneously realized in structural materials in operating conditions and current equipment status changes.
