Alimpiiev E. Government regulation of financial and monetary transmission in the Ukrainian economy.

The thesis is devoted to theoretical, methodological and practical problems of government regulation of financial and monetary transmission (case of Ukraine). The role of financial and monetary transmission mechanism in the modern theory of macroeconomic policy and in the practice of government regulation of national economy is highlighted. The thesis reveals the functioning of financial and monetary transmission mechanism, that is a system of transmission channels, by which the regulating impulses spread in the economy. The perspectives of government regulation of financial and monetary transmission mechanism are determined; the focus is made on the benefits of mixed financial and monetary transmission in terms of macroeconomic instability, simultaneous use of financial and monetary impulses, need of implementation of restrictive rules in the practice of financial and monetary regulation.
