The objects are ideas about the proper attitude toward chaos developed in philosophy. The aim is historical and philosophical reconstruction of the process and content of the evolution of philosophical strategies of interaction with chaos on the basis of research of ideas about the proper attitude toward chaos developed in philosophy. The methods are structural, hermeneutic, comparative. The thesis elicits, reconstructs and explains six philosophical strategies of interaction with chaos that were worked out in the history of philosophical thought: ordering, avoiding, transfiguring, preventing, controlling and integrating. The following thinkers are shown to participate in developing the given strategies: Z. Bauman , N. Berdyaev, A. Camus, J. Comenius, E. de Condillac, G. Deleuze, P. Gassendi, P.-F. Guattari, H. Haken, T. Hobbes, D. Hume, J. Locke, Q. Meillassoux, F. Nietzsche, J. Ortega y Gasset, I. Prigogine, H. Rickert, F. Schlegel. It is stated that for the first time philosophical strategies of interaction with chaos were worked out in Modern era on the basis of rethinking the concepts expressed in periods of Classical antiquity, Middle Ages, and Renaissance. Main stages of evolution of the philosophical strategies of interaction with chaos as well as its regularities are determined. The perspectives of the development of each one of six existing strategies of interaction with chaos are analyzed. Application spheres are training courses.
