Essay

The object of research is process of sustainable development for regions of Ukraine. The purpose of research is development and validation of the concept of sustainable development strategies formation for regions of Ukraine. Methods of research are dialectics; content analysis; logical analysis; induction and deduction; cognitive approach; simulation; correlation and regression analysis. For the first time the concept of sustainable development strategies for regions of Ukraine; methodological principles for the evaluation of regions sustainable development are formed; number of methods for identifying and diagnosing problems of regions sustainable development аre proposed; methodical approach to assessing the quality of the strategies formation for sustainable development regions is proposed. Classification of regional development theories which contains the basis of such features as height, placement, organization, structure, innovative development, economic specialization and competitiveness; the essence of the concept "sustainable development of the region"; analytical scheme for determining the factors that influence the level of development regions of the country are improved. Methodological approach to the construction of the problem field of the regions sustainable development; number of methods in tree building sustainable development goals of the region; the model of sustainable development of the region; the mechanism for selecting the scenarios achieve the goals and solve the problems of sustainable development of the region.
