Object: the modernization of domestic trade as a socio-economic system of market type. Purpose: To study the theoretical and methodological and applied scientific principles modernization of domestic trade and develop recommendations to improve competitiveness and efficiency. Methods: abstract logical; systematic and evolutionary; institutional; functional analysis; statistical and graphical analysis; modeling and forecasting. It is offered: current content and form of comprehensive modernization of domestic trade; theoretical and methodological approaches to the formation of basic integrated innovation model of modernization domestic trade; conceptual platform and theoretically justified formation of a competitive system of internal trade on the basis of modernization; The theoretical and methodological approach to scientific analysis and improvement of the modernization of domestic trade.
