The dissertation is devoted to developing scientific and practical foundations of the synthesis of amphiphilic invertible polymers via step-growth polymerization of polyether diols and either diisocyanates or dicarboxylic acid anhydrides for the formation of hierarchical micellar structures from monomolecular micelles to polymolecular associates in both aqueous and organic media.The composition and morphology of the micellar structures have been studied depending on the nature of a solvent and a polymer, a macromolecular structure, concentration, and temperature. Polymeric drug delivery systems and nanoreactors for the synthesis of metal and semiconductor nanoparticles have been developed.
