The study is characterization and analysis of the formation and development of socio-cultural relations Yugoslavia and Ukraine for 1918 - 1991. The object of the research - social and political processes in Ukraine and Yugoslavia, which took place in the years 1918 - 1991, against which carried out the development of social and cultural ties between nations. The methodological basis of the thesis consists principles - historicism, objectivity and consistency; approach - simultaneous, multi-disciplinary, structural and functional; methods - analysis and synthesis, logical, mathematical, periodisation, critical, historicism, hermeneutic, inductive-deductive, comparative, descriptive.
