The thesis deals with problems of optimization of complex social insurance in Ukraine. Provided legal characteristics, researched historical genesis of the formation and development of social insurance in Ukraine, is given the concepts, objectives, principles, objectives and functions of social insurance Ukraine. Analyzed the essence, peculiarities of subjects in the field of social insurance in Ukraine. Developed reasonably conceptually new theoretical propositions on ways to improve the functioning of social insurance in Ukraine.
