Dedicated to scientific foundations for development of passive safety conditions of bus body frame. Сalculation of the index of the strength of the body shell regarding the conditions of passive safety made on final super - and module element FE 3D modeling. It is made possible to create a complete model of a bus frame structure with the partitioning the set of substructures in the levels. Еxcept classical schemes framed structures realized theoretical bases of formation of two types of urban buses: Low-floor, Low-entry and couch-highdecker, also known as 1.5 - floor type.
