Manzhura O. Cooperative model of the national economy

The methodological foundations and evolution of views on the nature and socio-economic importance of cooperatives are revealed in the dissertation; preconditions origin and genesis of the cooperative movement in the world and in Ukraine are defined; principles of international cooperative organizations and the problem of membership of Ukraine in them are systematized; conceptual bases of formation of cooperative model of national economy are worked out. The author summarizes past and current experience of cooperative systems in Europe in the banking and insurance sector; the author defines features of state regulation and credit cooperative system of Ukraine; the author conducts an assessment of its economic position and analyzes the features of capital formation and regional distribution of assets of credit unions in Ukraine.
