Essay

Object: Ruthenian-Hungarian medieval relations that led to settlement in Hungary nicknamed local Latin documents in "Rus'" way persons and groups, laid the characteristic toponimy. Objective: analysis of the aforementioned by documents as "Rus'" people and communities in Hungary, their biograms, such as marital status, social significance and position in the hierarchy of a neighboring state, economic wealth, participation in the governing dynasties. Methods: analytical, logical systematization (classification), special historical: retrospection, periods, comparative historical, problem-chronological. Results: the author first discovered and put into scientific circulation still not known to the general public Hungarian acts that describe residence of "Rus'" in the Kingdom of Hungary in defined chronological limits, synchronized news of chronicles and acts of the Cancery of Romanoviches with Hungarian sources when writing biograms of individuals, singled out tens of new persons and groups, appointed in possession of Arpad and Anjou as "Rus'", "nicknamed Rus'", found that mentioned in these acts as «Rutheni» could be settlers of XI-XIV centuries, who for various reasons appeared in Hungary and were identified there in common clerk manner, written biograms of most identified people, reconstructed their genealogies, found a place of "Rus'" settlers in political life in the Kingdom of Hungary, economic development, inter-caste and inter-dynasty relations of Hungarian kings, in particular - with princely families of Rus. Scope of application: for experts on the history of ethnic minorities in Ukraine and abroad who study economic and socio-cultural cooperation between Ukraine and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, contribute to the expansion and deepening of relations of Ukraine with its neighbors and its European choice today.
