Kravchuk I. Management of the economic development of the rural social medium: theory and methodology

Aim of research: to develop and substantiate the theoretical, methodological, scientific and applied aspects of managing the economic development of rural social medium. Object of research: the process of managing the economic development of rural social medium under the conditions of social and economic transformations. Methods of research: abstract and logical, statistic and economic extrapolation of dynamics rows, economic groupings, expert prognostication. Theoretical results: the author has developed the theoretical and methodological principles of managing the economic development of rural social medium under the conditions of present-day transformation changes taking. Practical results: the proposals related to the improvement of the process of elaborating the strategies of developing the agrarian sector of the region are suggested; the conclusions and recommendations concerning the promising directions in the activities of rural dwellers are given. Scientific novelty: author reveals the essence of the concept of rural social medium as an economic phenomenon which is considered as a stable community of people residing permanently in the rural area, exercising its economic activities and forming the endogenic potentials of the rural area. The methodological principles of the integrated assessment of the endogenic potentials of rural territories are developed. The above principles cover the use of the integration approach to revealing the possibilities of the efficient reproduction of the components of the rural social medium and providing for their maximum use in the management of the agrarian sector development. The model for the optimum strategic development of the agrarian sector is elaborated. Results of research will contribute to increasing the efficiency of managing the development of rural economy, agriculture, rural territories.
