Dmitrenko M. Substantiation of diagnostics and treatment principles in patients with malocclusion, complicated by dental crowding.

Results of cases follow up status of occlusion in one group of schoolchildren during periods of temporary to permanent occlusion were reported. Long-term results of dental crowding treatment in temporary occlusion with application of the introduced method of correctional extraction of temporary molars in accordance with malocclusion (according to Angle) were analyzed. It was determined that on the average a dentition leveling period was in 1,5 times less while applying in permanent occlusion of passive self-ligating braces Damon system in comparison with conventional dental braces. It was proved that complex treatment with additional use of the worked out differentiated massage and mio-gymnastics allows to improve electromyographic indices of temporal, masticatory muscles and orbicular muscle of the mouth. Algorithms patterns of diagnostics and treatment events in patients with malocclusion, complicated by dental crowding, which are based on modern approaches to complex orthodontic treatment in compliance with periods of occlusion formation were developed. It was proved that the application of own theoretical and practical developments in orthodontic treatment makes it possible to reduce period of treatment on the average in 1,45 times in comparison with conventional.
