The thesis isdevoted tothe creation andimprovement ofmethodssouthernbeef breedin terms ofthe steppe zoneof Ukraine.The program ofbreedingcattlesouthernbeef breedfor the period 2002-2010 and 2013-2022 years, based on modernadvances in geneticsandpopulation structureusinginterbreed. An effective method for selection and recruitment is offered. With author participation established and recognized new selection achievements of Southern Meat breed, the Prychornomorskyi and the Taurian interbreed types, five lines, 14 relative lines, animals which are characterized by high breeding productive properties.
