Essay

The thesis concerns a comprehensive study of anisotropic thermomagnetoelectroelastic solids with thin inhomogeneities. To study considered problems the discontinuity function boundary element method is developed. The latter is based on the new models of thin inclusions, novel integral equations for aperiodic, singly and doubly periodic problems of magnetoelectroelasticity and extended Somigliana identities of thermomagnetoelectroelasticity, and the modified boundary element method.
