Disertation provides the new direction of the decision an actual problem to improving diagnosis and treatment of EBV infection in children under dynamics of clinical-paraclinical and immunological parameters (cellular, humoral immunity, cytokine, interferon, apoptosis markers). On the basis of clinical and paraclinical parameters in 447 children (2009-2014 years) described the clinical and paraclinical peculiarities of the primary forms of acute infection - infectious mononucleosis, describes the features of the clinical picture of the disease, depending on age and weight. The results of the follow-up observation for one year showed that only half of patients with infectious mononucleosis recovery is completed, the other half formed a protracted form, chronic infectious mononucleosis and reactivation form. Based on the comprehensive immunological studies with determination of cell, humoral immunity, cytokine, apoptosis markers, interferon in acute and reconvalescence period set pre announcers risk of formation prolonged and persistent forms of infections. The proposed optimization of treatment infectious mononucleosis in children with the inclusion of interferon-alfa2b. The study of clinical and immunological characteristics of persistent form of Epstein-Barr virus infection in children and on their basis developed therapy with antiviral drug acyclovir and interferon-alfa2b.
