The object of study: the processes of the agricultural production in Ukraine. Objective: To develop theoretical and methodological principles of forming economic development strategy for agricultural production. Methods: analysis, synthesis, indicative, deductive, abstraction, ascent from the abstract to the concrete, logical and theoretical generalization, historical, dialectical, systems theory, retrospective analysis, system-structural analysis, economic modeling, correlation and regression analysis, scenario modeling. Scientific novelty: first proposed theoretical and methodological approach to forming a strategy of economic development of agricultural production on the basis of indicators prevent crises using scenario modeling and to meet the requirements of foreign markets for raw materials, goods and services, domestic demand for this raw material and goods, membership Ukraine in the EU; Conceptual approaches to the harmonious economic growth and development of agricultural production with the use of econometric forecasting and incorporate an integrated approach to the agricultural sector, which is to provide innovative investment factor in modern conditions characterized by volatility and fragmentation; formed on the basis of a systematic approach and properties of the elements of the economic system - emerzhentnosti - factors of agricultural production, which can occur only as a result of joint cooperation financial, economic, social and environmental factors.
