Essay

Thesis explores the frequency of the first episode of typical non-valvular atrial flutter in the in-patients. Clinical, hemodynamical and electrophysiological characteristics of arrhythmia were studied in complex. Influence of each factor upon rhythm restoration and sinus rhythm preservation efficacy was demonstrated. Efficacy of different cardioversion methods (antiarrythmic therapy, transesophageal electric cardiac stimulation, electrical cardioversion, catheter radiofrequency ablation) and their indications were evaluated. Algorithm for sinus rhythm restoration developed and implemented. Protocol of transesophageal electric cardiac stimulation was modified. Predictors of effective sinus rhythm restoration and preservation after successful cardioversion were found. Clinical flow of arrhythmia according to 3 years patients with first episode of isolated atrial flutter follow-up was studied. Occurrence of left trial auricle clot formation at non-valvular typical atrial flutter was studied.
