Mischenko A. Multilingual text communication in the light of modern linguistic technologies (on the material of technical documentation)

A technologically-oriented methodology for producing German-Ukrainian technical documentation texts is presented in the dissertation. The methodology makes a contribution to solving problems of multi-lingual text communication in the global society and to supporting national translation studies. It is based on the integration of project management and team work, machine translation and translation memory systems, linguistic resources and terminology work, internationalization, unification, restriction, localization of the text and multi-stage quality control of a linguistic product in virtual systems of professional cooperation. The significance of establishing the national system of linguistic resources and modernizing translators' training in Ukraine has been proved.
